Certified Personal Trainer: Forest Grove
Forest Grove Health & Fitness is looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated certified Personal Trainer with motivation to turn current part-time position into a full-time independent career.
Requirements: Must possess one of the following valid certifications AND/OR have a 4-year Bachelors or Masters Degree in a fitness related field: (ACE, ACSM, AFAA, NASM’Ķ)
Personal Trainers will:
- Conduct fitness consultations and assessments
- Develop unique and individualized programs that ensure client safety, satisfaction, and enhancement of personal fitness goals
- Assist, monitor, and instruct clients
- Ensure safe and effective use of equipment
- Maintain consistent client base
- Provide exceptional customer service to members and guests throughout the club
- Assist with additional club responsibilities as needed
Job Requirements:
- Candidates must be at least 18 years or older to apply
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Previous training and program design experience
- Fitness related degree and/or certification desired
- Willingness to attend training and development
- Motivation, energy, and enthusiasm, with a desire to succeed
- Strong communication skills required
- Customer service oriented
- Individual and team contributor
- CPR / AED Certified (training provided)
- Bilingual a plus
